If this is your first visit with us, you might have some questions about what happens on Sunday morning at the Grant City Baptist Church.
Q: What time should we be there?
A: Light breakfast served: 9:00 a.m.
Worship service: 9:30 a.m.
Sunday school groups: 10:30 a.m.
Q: What should we wear?
A: Whatever you are comfortable with. Our "style" is mostly casual.
Q: What do you offer for children?
A: We have a nursery for little ones up to age 4. There are "Busy Bags" available for older children to enjoy during the service, filled with Bible-themed activities and a goodie or two!
We also offer Sunday school groups for all ages, infants through Sr. Adults.
Q: What does a typical worship service include?
A: A weekly bulletin is provided every Sunday with the order of service, so it's easy to follow along. At some point in every service, there will be prayer, congregational singing, an offering of money to provide for the church and its ministries, the reading of Scripture from the Bible and a message from Pastor Darin.
Q: Do you observe the Lord's Supper (communion)?
A: We celebrate Communion the first Sunday of every month. We believe Communion is for all people who have accepted Jesus as their savior.
Q: How long will the service last?
A: Our worship service typically lasts about an hour.
We are looking forward to meeting and worshiping with you!
Please feel free to call the church at 660-564-3490 for any other questions you may have.
